Some times in the course of this project, I meet the nicest people. I’d like to introduce y’all to Sega. He works down at Oat Willie’s, one of Austin’s finest head shops. He explained that he had spent some time homeless and always enjoyed life no matter the circumstances. One hell of a nice guy. Thanks for letting me take the photo!

I got this to go along with the “HEATHEN” written on my stomach and the “No Gods. No Masters.” written on my collarbones. But they are mostly hidden which is why I wanted my knuckles done. I don’t believe in god or religion. I live by my convictions, and I wear them on my sleeves, literally.
Dave Bireley is back again, and trying to force my hand to create a new category (9-Down), but he didn’t realize I already had an “other” category. Good to hear from you again Dave. This is his reason for getting his double (and a thumb) deckers.

I am a tattooist from N.Ireland, so getting my fingers tattooed wasn’t that big of a step for me. It was however – Painful!
The idea of text came from my love of old school tattoo concepts i.e. The lady luck, mans ruin etc.
Also, many people I know say I am their ‘Little lady luck’, because the things I want to happen generally come to me quite easily. Although, i’m not sure if thats luck or just sheer hard work – You choose. =]
Uhm… I don’t even know what to say, except to let Tasha say it herself:
I got this on my 18th birthday which was really only 3 or 4 weeks ago. (October 22nd) I got this because “The Boss” had been my nickname from my dad since I was quite young. I’ve always been good at being in charge and I’ve always been a little on the bossy side. It pretty much defines who I am, and my attitude towards things. I do have stuff written on the sides of my fingers, but they’re totally irrelevant to my knuckles!
Also, I will eventually be getting the second row of my knuckles done soon!

i got my knuckles done when i was 17 ive been through a hell of alot in my life and constantly heard how unlucky i was so i decided to embrase it and let the tattoo remind me that no matter how good things get theres always gonna be someone ready too shit all over it!!

Hi, this is my boyfriend and his mate. On a show holiday, they were bored, had few and were keen to get some ink for something to do. They were keen to get their knuckles tattooed so they tried to think of something. My man came up with “wham bamm” on one set of knuckles and “thku mamm” on the other, so that’s what they got. My man now has a full marvel sleeve so the “wham bamm” on his knuckles really suit his sleeve to the whole comic theme. And the funny thing is, our mate has a sleeve of pin up chicks and he has “thku mamm”.

I went for Fatality, as on my 8th birthday my older brother bought me a copy of Mortal Kombat II on the Mega Drive… It was such an awesome game, and still is! I completely blame my brother for exposing such a young’un to an 18 rated game, to the extent that I believe it was the first trigger that set me up to become alternative in my later life.
