The idea for this tattoo started out as a joke. I was with some friends at an all-night diner, and we were discussing 8-letter words that would make no sense tattooed on someone’s knuckles. My friend said ‘elephant’ and since I really like elephants for no reason, I decided that would be it. My tattoo artist asked me why I was getting the word elephant tattooed on my knuckles, and I just said “Because I never forget.” So that’s why.

i got ‘xmas past’ as my hometown in rochester, england where charles dickens lived. i always loved his books especially a christmas carol. so i decided to go for xmas past in tribute as the ghost of christmas past is one of the spirits that visits scrooge. i always wanted my knuckles done and wanted something unique.

We decided to tattoo his knuckles on a whim last time he was here. Kevin says he frequently gets into fist fights so we thought “PEEK-A-BOO” would be funny.

in my childhood i was brought up in a poor family and through schooling i got allot of unwanted attention cause i could afford to buy the best of everything like all the other rich kids… now im very sucessful and definatly would be having a better lifestyle than those kids that had made fun of me. im where i am today cause of myself not my family nor friends.. I AM SELF MADE

I been through some crazy stuff. And done plenty of ignorant shit. I moved past a very unproductive and rough time in my life to pursue my art and tattooing full time. So, with that said I’m “2FAR GONE” to ever go back.

That was the year I was established and born. People proudly put it on their business windows and cards so I thought why not put it on my knuckles. People often think I am older and I usually have to convince them of my age. Now I just show them my knuckles.
