I’m Dez Aster, Just got my Knuckle Rockers today…
I just had my knuckles tattooed, ART’S DEAD. I’m an artist, and decided I would go for irony. In a way I believe that art is, indeed, dying. Tattoos are my way of always making sure that art will not dissapear, as long I can have it put into my skin. Tattoo was done by Kyle Speraw at Altered Image Tattoo and Body Piercing.

Just thought id just send in my New Tattoo. Speakes for its self really with what it is but the reason i got it is obviously i love films, but more so evil dead is like a childhood memory. i saw the side of The VHS at my aunties house when i was about 8 an straight away the font of the title drew me in, i took it out an saw the front cover an straight away thought “Woah i gotta see this!”, i know 8 years old is a bit young to be lendin your nephew 18 rated horror movies but shes a cool auntie like that! so yeah, thats the reason. its was the first film that really fuckin grabbed my balls! (my small balls at that time :) and really made me get into films. Cheers.
I got this because of my love for all things Horror related. I worship the Evil Dead series, so I wanted to show my love.

Dead By Dawn is actually an accessory tattoo to by back and arm pieces. All three of these are inspired by Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead 2 film. The only real personal meaning they hold is of I guess somewhere in the Horror movie dork world. Also I wanted 10 letters for my knux and the only other thing that fit was “UNHIREABLE”.
Planet 13 is of more of a personal nature and a tribute to Wednesday 13’s Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13. Back to the Horror / Sci – Fi dork thing but some gender bending background as well.
