My name is Jeff Cotter and the story behind me getting mine done is that Im a 28 year old man who recently moved 2500km for work and has changed careers from office worker to mine worker. I wanted to get something funny as most of the knuckle tatt’s I’ve seen are way to serious… I did it for the lulz.

Oh my God. Every once in a while something comes along that just reminds you of how great what you are doing is. This is a pure and perfect example. Jared P. sends us these knuckles and reminds us how important it is to keep this site going. Thank you so much for sending them in. Here is his story:

These are loved by everyone who sees em. I got em 3 years ago, and they need to be redone. I was told that the color would be hard to keep. I went with the pixelated Ms. PacMan on my ring finger so we could get married ♡!
The heart is from the end of Act 1 on Ms. Pacman when she meets Pacman and finds the heart…. thats why Pacman is on my index finger facing the heart. My pinky is a Pretzel also from Ms. Pacman. I went with the Pretzel instead of cherries or strawberries cause it didn’t seem to fit in with the other food Ms. Pacman eats… kinda like I don’t fit in with other people. And on my right hand are the ghosts. I have Inky, Pinky, Stinky, and Sue. One is the scared variation. For the most part everybody with Knucks tattooed is trying to say something. I couldn’t sum up what I wanted to say in 8 letters for the rest of my life… but I was ready to get my knuckles done, and didn’t want words. I guess I’m saying I love old school video games… and that I grew up in the 80′s. I wanted them to be pixelated to look original.

I recently ended up at Your Mom’s Burger Bar in East Austin. Aside from the awesome food, there were two great sets of knuckle tattoos. First up, we have Philip’s knuckles.

They are all things he likes. On the left: Snow cones, spray paint, pizza, PBR, and on the right, traditional symbols.

Tonight I got to hang out with Bones DeLarge of The Lower Class Brats fame. We talked knuckle tattoos (naturally) and rockers local and international. Bones asked if he sent me a picture tonight if it would be on the website tomorrow. The answer is yes, they are.

I say “blokes” because both men were visiting from England. One of them,
Jethro “Jeff” Wood, is a tattoo artist and considerably inked. His pal, Sam, was likewise decorated.

But I held something back from the post. Of course, both men had Knuckle Tattoos.

First off we have Jeff’s “COSY” which is the Anglicized version of “cozy”:

Why “COSY”? Because, Jeff said with a gleam in his eye, “My bird loves
being cosy”. By bird, of course, he did not mean his parakeet, but his
girl. I’d elaborate further, but I don’t want to have to spell everything
out, okay?

Next was Jeff’s friend Sam, who sported these knuckles:

“Why FAT SAM?” I asked. He just smiled, patted his small (by American
standards) beer belly and said it was because he was so fat!

It was a treat meeting these two guys and even more fun talking to them about their tattoos.

Here’s a pic of my knuckle tats. They are about 4-6 months old. The meaning (RIG4 DIVE) is to rig the ship for diving, a term heard on board a submarine while surfaced, but getting ready to go deep. Yeah, I was a submarine sailor.

The Story behind is that i already had the Stars on my left and right hand.

They weren`t made that good and i thought about having them made over and use the star for the A in the Word STAR, and on my other Hand ROCK to build the Word ROCKSTAR.

I was more into it when i read KAT von D`s Book cuz i liked her hands so much. Now im Happy to have it on my Knuckles.
Lets see what my Boss is thinking about it when i see him on Monday :-)
